Produced and directed documentary about Baiae, a lost underwater Roman resort in the Bay of Naples where Emperors and the super-rich enjoyed lavish parties, sought out love affairs and plotted against their political rivals. 

 

With the help of a team of experts, this film investigates underwater artefacts and ruins to paint a picture of this ancient luxury resort. Baiae was a place of staggering wealth with elaborate water features and private fish farms ensuring an endless supply of the finest seafood. Privileged access to extraordinarily well preserved frescoes offers us hints on the splendour of these dwellings.

A major feature of the film was the CGI in which we rebuilt the entire city for the first time.
